Dear Paws Awhile Family,
Although Christmas and the New Year holidays are past us now, Paulie, Josh and I wish to extend our gratitude and thanks for all you do each day. Appreciation and thanks are not exclusive to holidays but should be considered a daily exercise. The “three” of us thank God for finding all of you. The difference you have made in our “Pet Life” has been unmeasurable. Although he can be exasperating with his “talking back” and hurling his food dish, Paulie loves Mother Ed, Jess and all of you who touch his life. Again, thank you and God Bless all of you.

This is just a note to thank you and your staff for the excellent care of Scout from 11 – 18 October. This was his first boarding experience, and it was very positive. Thank you for the excellent care provided, and we will use Paws Awhile again in the future.

Dear Sisters,
Thank you so much for taking wonderful care of Hoss.
We have boarded him at a couple of other kennels in the past, and he has always been distressed, clingy, and out of sorts for a couple of weeks after we brought him home. But his demeanor is different after having spent time at Paws Awhile. He is just as happy, content, and energetic as he is when he is home with us. I can tell that he was not stressed while we were away.
Thank you and please thank the staff and the groomer who took such loving care of him while he was away from his family.

I wanted to thank the team at Paws Awhile for taking excellent care of our fur babies while we were away. With Monty getting up in age and having more health challenges, I was worried more this time about leaving him than ever. You all did an outstanding job and we are very grateful for your compassion and care. Monty and Riley are doing great and happy to be home again. I have attached their “happy going home” faces. By the way, he knows the word, “Mother!” The other morning when he was coming down, we said, “Let’s get in the car and go see Mother!” He wagged his tail like mad at the word, “Mother!” He does it every time! He must like you people! I thought that was pretty cute. He does have a blast there!

First of all, my apologies for not sending this email earlier. Doug and I want to thank you and your staff for taking such good care of Finnley. He seemed happy on pick up and has been in great form since. Thank you also for the emails you sent at the start of our trip, getting that reassurance enabled us to relax and not worry about him so we are extremely grateful for that.

Dear Mother,
As always, we are very appreciative of your taking in Kayute for boarding and his ongoing medical care. It is a great relief to have our beloved cat under your expert care.
As of August 28, 2023, Kayute weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces. This is down a bit from 8 pounds and 3 ounces when we last got him from you. He always comes back from boarding at the Big House heftier than previously. You do great magic!!!

Rufus crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning. Thank you so much for everything you did for him, especially towards the end. I know it wasn’t easy! It always eased my mind to know that you were caring for him (and JJ before him!) while we were away.

The Paws Awhile team is simply the best you’ll ever meet. Having utilized dozens of boarding and daycare facilities across the US over the past 20 years for my precious pups, I can say without a doubt that Mother Ed, Mother Eirene, Mother Raphaela and the entire team are the most committed caregivers a pet parent can hope for. Even a big, boisterous dog like my sweet Eddie was always treated with personalized care and total commitment during each visit. When he got sick with cancer, Mother Ed took extra special care of him during his stays and play dates, capturing beautiful photos and building happy memories for all of us.
