Pet Limousine Service, Food and Bedding

For your convenience, Paws Awhile will pick-up and/or delivery your pet to your home. For rates, please click here. Please contact the office at the time you make your reservation with requests for pick-up or drop-off. All arrangements for these services are handled on an individual basis. Either Mother Eirene or Mother Raphaela will contact you a day or two before the scheduled transportation to finalize the details.

We encourage everyone to send their pet’s food from home. Staying on the same food helps to prevent tummy upset while boarding. We can accommodate foods that need to be refrigerated or frozen. We require all dry food to be put into individual serving-size baggies, i.e., one bag for each meal per dog. Each bag must be labeled with the dog’s first and last name and whether it is a morning or evening meal.

Because we do not have the space to store large bags or containers of dry food, we require that your pet’s food be in individual serving-size baggies per meal, per dog.

If we are to add wet food to your dog’s dry food, please just bring the cans or containers. Please do not pre-mix the dry and wet food.

We carry the following foods:

Dogs: Regal Adult and Regal Lean dry food. These are turkey-based diets.

Cats: Regal dry food and Fancy Feast wet food.

If your pet has any special dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when you make your reservation and again at check-in.

For those pups who need a little encouragement to eat or who may have GI issues, we do make homemade chicken and rice.

We do not accept bedding brought from home. We provide lots of comfy blankets and fleeces and we have special beds for our geriatric guests and those recovering from surgery.

You are welcome to bring one or two toys, or something that smells like home, but please be aware that loss or damage to these articles may occur. Please label toys just like you would label your children’s belongings when they go to camp. Please do not send anything that will be greatly missed if lost or destroyed. Since we change bedding at least once a day or more, sometimes toys end up in the wash and are not ready to go home when you check-out your pet. If this happens, we are more than happy to keep them until your pet’s next visit. We will do our best to return items, but cannot be held responsible if something is lost or destroyed.
